Kudos to the Good Ol Grateful DeadCast. Their Chef's tour of the creative process inside this band has raised my comprehension of my favorite band. I am increasingly appreciating their mid to late 1970s work more and more. #deadsky #gratefuldead #notfadeaway ps: Donna was the best!

Here’s the Second Avenue Theater, later the Anderson, and for about a week the CBGBs Theater. It was the first place “Because the Night” was ever performed live, Bruce Springsteen joining the Patti Smith Group onstage, before the NYFD showed up & shut things down

wanna plug this one more time: there's a pretty much a whole secret deadcast episode about "one from the vault" hidden inside our "sage & spirit" episode! #deadfreaksunite
especially, this deadcast features an extended visit to the dead’s classic show at the great american music hall in ’75, now “one from the vault,” untangling myths & cricket stories with attendees, organizers, the venue’s house engineer, plus wee bits from donna jean. www.dead.net/deadcast/blu... /2

APPLE MOVED THEIR TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION TEAM TO AN OFFICE WITH NO SHELVES AND GAVE AWAY ALL THEIR BOOKS ?????????
A few years ago they moved their technical documentation team to the spaceship, to an office that had NO bookshelves. They posted on Slack that their entire library was basically up for grabs.

I got an autographed copy of Ted Nelson’s Possiplex out of it, among other treasures.

at property is theft, tom & danny from garcia peoples, minus the peoples, plus loops/beats/ebows & such. loose forms, sometimes a mite rough, sometimes ecstatic, all miniature distillations of the GPs' gooey guitar core.

it's sad when bands break up but sadder still when their merch becomes too worn-out to wear out of the house. (brought to you by the retirement of my 2nd akron/family shirt.)
