On this date in 2004 Ellis Burks played his final MLB Game. The Red Sox signed Burks as a Free Agent in February 2004, injured for most of the year, he played in 11 Games, hitting .182 with 1 HR. He retired after the season with a WS Ring, with the team that he began his career with.
