I wouldn't trust this man to tell me what day it is. But if anyone needs urgent care & goes to hospital they should get that care as quickly as is humanly possible. If ERs had to check citizenship or residency status or insurance cover before providing care more people would die seeking urgent care.
Vance: "If you're an American citizen & you've been to the hospital in the last few years, you've probably noticed wait times are especially large & very often somebody who's there in the ER is an illegal alien. Why do those people get healthcare benefits at hospitals paid for by American citizens?"

There's no two ways of putting this;

Nature in Ireland is fucked and our ambition for restoration does not go far enough.

We also have to make hard choices where we will lose somethings to make space for others because of climate and anthropogenic impacts.

There is no easy answer to this.
Ireland’s nature is in a “very poor” state, with the country’s economic growth achieved at the expense of the environment, according to the EU’s State of Europe’s Environment report. We’re running out of wake-up calls! www.irishtimes.com/ireland/2025...

This is the guy from Belfast who's trying to get province-wide anti-immigrant protests going. Although he's trying to get cross-community support he's a loyalist who associates with ex UVF men. He's against the left, centrists, unions, republicans, LGBT, and has started vigilante night patrols.

has anyone learned AI fundamentals recently? i don’t mean like “using” AI but more like, actual ML fundamentals, Transformers, whatever the underlying mechanism up to modern LLMs. including math and basic insights. i’m wondering if it’s Fun To Learn and whether it’s Useful. and fav resources if any

Funny and true.

I suspect another reason companies are adding in AI is about capturing more personal data from you. Probably best to avoid using it logged into anything until there is more transparency on that.

For those who dk, ‘Messianic Jewish’ means he’s a Christian in the sense that he believes Jesus to be the Messiah.

So this is a Christian calling himself Jewish who pretended to be Muslim to entrap Muslims.
A Messianic Jewish activist who pretended to be Muslim and said he was concerned about Islamophobia met undercover over the last month with Muslim professors at the U. of Florida — including its new Teacher of the Year — trying to goad them into making anti-Israel statements to use against them.
