ADHD is basically trying to toe a needle-thin line between under/overstimulated. You gotta have three drinks, a snack, youtube, paper to doodle on, and your actual work in there somewhere...but add in a sudden youtube ad or your headphones rubbing your ears the wrong way and suddenly it's TOO MUCH™

Ironically, for being as difficult as this game is, the final boss was a bit of a pushover... 🤔

The Silksong difficulty discourse is the funniest thing to me. Different people are good at different things!! I am having the time of my life with the platforming sections but am not as good at the combat. I’m sure it’s the opposite for some people. We all have strengths/weaknesses!

I constantly say that everyone in comics should cross-train. Yeah, I may be a letterer/designer, but I've done stints in almost all the other fields: coloring, editing, illustrating, writing... it makes me MUCH better at my job and at communicating.
I feel like everyone in a creative field needs to work in a "downstream" role for a while so they know how much of a pain this sort of thing can be.

I can’t speak for every comics creator but for me “comics will break your heart” boils down to one of:
1. didn’t get paid hardly enough
2. didn’t get paid
3. somehow LOST money on the deal
4. book never came out
5. book came out wrong somehow
6. book came out and sank like a stone

We often think of forests in terms of acres, flat, 2D planes. But forests are like vertical meadows. Each tree contains multitudes of smaller creatures below and above ground. The trees feed the soil as they host life in the air. If you cut them down, you kill the soil below and the air above.
