I feel just as strongly about accessibility in video games. They should be fun, and some people need an extra hand. I really feel like this first Silksong patch was the right move for a lot of reasons and allows the folks not in the “git gud” crowd to have fun too. The game IS STILL DIFFICULT.

I feel very strongly about meeting a piece of media where it is: not expecting it to be something it’s not, e.g. reading a romance novel & being upset there’s smut in it. I feel the same about video games, this one in particular, but I also feel that games need to meet players where they’re at.

The folks who are yelling about Team Cherry nerfing Moorwing and Sister Splinter also say that Savage Beastfly is too hard. I had such a bad time with the first two, to the point I wanted to quit the game, but I cleared the beastfly in two tries. It’s funny how that works out.
