To America’s 2.3 million federal employees:

Don’t accept a buyout.

Neither Musk nor even Trump has the legal authority to make such an offer.

And even if they did, would you trust them to follow through on it?

Sincerely,

For all federal employees:

Before you are locked out of your systems, ensure you have copies of unclassified performance appraisals, awards & other relevant personnel docs.

If you have access to your office, grab your more important personal items sooner rather than later.

Good news to share in 3 parts:
1) In Wheeling, WV the protest march we held today was overwhelmingly supported by the passing cars. 100s of cheers & 3 boos.
2)David Hogg elected Vice Chair of the DNC!
3) Canada is putting a 100% tariff on Tesla. Gotta be a horrible person to get Canada that mad.

I’m going to put my rich guy hat on and say I hope that Mexico and Canada issue equal, retaliatory tariffs and stick to them for an extended period.

I apologize to all the people it will cost money and the businesses it will hurt.

But it’s the only way for tariffs to be seen for what they are

Everyone should watch CNN's Jim Acosta's dismantling of a GOP Rep's evasions over Trump's 1/6 pardons. On the pod, we feature excerpts. @mattgertz.bsky.social and I dig into why Acosta's moment is so rare in the land of 1/6 euphemism that defines much media discourse:
