Lover of science, art, and freedom. Emergency physician still hoping for more truth and a healthier more beautiful world. I door knocked for the guy who thought health care was a human right.
Merrick Garland promoted him to protect America.
That tracks pretty well with how useless Garland was.
Pathetic
Sir you wouldn’t come to this committee and say something you can’t prove, I knew you wouldn’t do that‼️ But you did‼️

soon we are going to need a “department of what haven’t we intentionally screwed up yet?”
You know what brings revenue to the U.S. that isn’t a tax?

Tourism.
Also students from abroad.

Both of which we are intentionally screwing up

Just because bad leadership says you can do something doesn't mean you must do something
Good morning. Instead of trying to squeeze a couple more marginal dollars in sales why doesn’t Jensen Huang make a point of not selling to the U.S.’s greatest technological rival?
Maybe that’s the more prudent and ultimately lucrative long term position.

seems problematic that our leadership no longer respects nor obeys the constitution
I am not live posting the whole argument here because I want to listen closely to Trump v. Slaughter. But the solicitor general for Trump just said the point here in killing the independence of agencies like the FTC is that executive branch officers must “fear and obey” the president. Wow. #SCOTUS

Republican actions kill children.
This is the GOP legacy.
The death rate among children under 5 is expected to grow this year for the first time in the 21st century, researchers say. A key factor, they say, is cuts to U.S. and other foreign aid

Republicans hate children and want them to turn yellow and die. I’m serious. This is purposeful harm without a rational risk/benefit analysis. But on a population level the effect won’t be in our faces unless its YOUR kid who dies or gets cancer for no good reason.
Temu ACIP has just voted to discontinue the recommendation for the birth dose of HBV vaccine against the advice of all scientific experts.

They have now established beyond a shadow of doubt that they are not a legitimate scientific body.

Meissner says “we are doing harm”.

This isn't representation. It is a hijacking.
Thread: Republicans won the Senate in 2024 despite Democrats winning more votes & representing more people nationwide.

Republicans last won more support than Democrats in the 1990s but won the Senate anyway in 7 of 13 elections since 2000.

Every state needs to completely decouple their vaccination policy from ACIP if they haven’t already done so.

This is no longer a credible scientific body.

The grifting regime wants to kill kids.
Maybe they don't realize how often parents have to struggle just to followup with a pediatrician after birth to obtain care and vaccines.
But they certainly don't give a damn.
They are a plague upon our citizens.
Today, ACIP is poised to vote on delaying the hepatitis B vaccine birth dose, a move that could put millions of kids at risk of lifelong disease. Read more about the implications of today’s vote in AAP News:

pretty sad that our nation is allowing such bad leadership that pseudo-scientists are shooting us all in the head
ACIP co-chair and rabid anti-vaxxer Robert Malone keeps silencing ACIP members Meissner and Hibbeln because they are DEMANDING evidence of the false claims being made by radical anti-vaxxer and climate scientist Nevinson and radical anti-vaxxer and Harvard MBA Blaxill.

We are a nation of immigrants and should not allow racists and imbeciles to make ridiculous decisions that will continue to damage our nation.
Xenophobia and racism has certainly never worked out poorly for the US national interest before (Qian Xuesen: Caltech professor, co-founder of JPL, leading rocketry expert -- deported during the Red Scare and then went on to found China's space program and lead Chinese ICBM development)
