Give a man a fish and someone with a thousand fishes is going to bitch about people getting free handouts. Teach a man to fish? Yeah, that person with a thousand fishes is going to bitch about that too.

IMO you’re a failure of a hater if you’re a boring cynic about everything. Your hatred should be reserved for targets that truly deserve it. It means nothing if you automatically apply it to everything you encounter

We have to keep shoveling all money, labor, water, and the environment into this mulcher so it will one day attain sentience and solve climate change, the first of which is impossible and the latter is a problem we have known the cause of and solution to for over a hundred years
is it better for countries to invest in boring things like transport and energy infrastructure or should they invest all their money in useless chatbots that talk in reddit-voice on the vague and completely unsubstantiated hope that they'll be able to do something profitable one day

Something worth noting: Rockstar is leaning HEAVILY on the excuse that the unionising employees were "leaking private company information"

They want people to assume this means game info or assets.

But I will bet you CASH MONEY this translates to:

'they were comparing salaries and work contracts"

It's cool how we keep proving over and over and over again that there's a significant market for narrative-heavy, character-driven, single-player experiences in video games and publishers just categorically refuse to believe us

Don't forget that Zohran Mamdani spent his entire campaign standing proudly beside the trans community. He went to trans rights rallies just to show support. He proudly waved trans rights flags without hesitation. He refused to back down in support of trans rights. That makes me happy.

as someone who was on SNAP four times let me tell you it would be *phenomenally hard* to exploit, they put *a lot of effort* into giving you *as little as possible* and are horrendously understaffed

if someone has managed to abuse the system they are Danny Ocean and you should respect the hustle
“some people abuse SNAP” your soul is rotten

There are lots of reasons to criticize the Chainsaw Man anime adaptation but the only criticisms I’ve ever seen people give always boil down to just “it isn’t the manga”

CHAINSAW MAN! CHAINSAW MAN!

I’m still a die hard for part one of this series, and yeah that movie was a fucking banger. Art style difference is seamless and very reminiscent of the manga, and there’s still enough of that cinematic flair that I’m not too disappointed by the director change.

*conservatives* are more free to speak their minds, which means Americans are more free, because the people being censored are "un-American"

that's the essence of conservative logic
This administration has been, by far, the most censorial administration in my lifetime. They're punishing people for speech about Palestine, about Charlie Kirk, about ICE, about the President. It's been nonstop attacks on speech.
Mike Johnson: "The last time I checked, Americans have more freedom right now to express themselves and speak their minds after Republicans took over ... it is the Republicans who restored your right to share and speak your mind."
