“I was 14… I was 16… this was me when I met Epstein… there are thousands of us… time to let the secrets out of the shadows”

Powerful ad from survivors ahead of a vote to tell us where each House rep stands on protecting kids vs protecting pedophiles.

Monday's Thought - I mad, are you? After stunning election victories last week, we were betrayed by 8 members of our party last night. Some retiring and shitting on the people as they leave. Other's so full of it, they don't deserve another term on office. Electing 1%ers is what leads to this.

In a normal democracy, a total collapse of party leadership would result in an no-confidence vote and immediate snap elections to find leaders who can lead

In a functional party system, this kind of capitulation in the face of authoritarianism could mean the end of the Democratic Party.

In our system, it could mean the end of the two party system. Neither party can represent the pro-democracy majority. It's time for something new.

For the left, there’s a fracture between neoliberals and progressives.

For the right, it’s between Nazis and moderates.

Progressives and moderates are finding common ground in resistance.

Currently can’t tell if establishment Dems will join the Nazis in the minority or the People in the majority.

Shutting down the government is a big deal. People have been hurt in big ways as a result of the decision. To have that suffering be for nothing—to re-open the government without actually having protected people’s health insurance and economic well-being—is unconscionable.

The reason people think the Democratic Party doesn't actually stand for anything is because it doesn't.

This deal to reopen the government is fucking disgraceful.

Tens of millions will lose their healthcare. Trump will be emboldened.

This is exactly what’s wrong with Democratic Party leadership and why we need more people in Congress who will actually hold the line.

Maybe I'm grasping at straws, but this report from the live (right now) testimony about tariffs before #SCOTUS gives me hope.

"Justice Gorsuch suggests that Congress may have crossed a constitutional line in delegating too much authority to the president under the administration’s theory."
