This is accurate. For Collins and Murkowski too. They like to trade off on oppositional votes when it looks like they could impact the outcome. If Collins really wanted to send this bill to the graveyard where it belongs, she would have done the work to form a 4-Senator bloc. #MEPolitics
To our knowledge, Susan Collins has NEVER been the deciding vote against a GOP bill or nominee -- with the exception of the McCain thumbs down which was an accident, taking her and everyone else by surprise.

By contrast she's been the deciding vote FOR dozens of GOP bills/judges/etc. #MEpolitics
Has she ever been the deciding vote against a bill/judge/cabinet nominee the GOP wanted to pass?
Inflation/higher prices have cost Maine families an extra $543 since Feb. Nationally, the increase for an average family was $706.

As of Nov. 6, total gross national debt was >$2 trillion higher than a year ago and ~$11 trillion higher than 2020, an increase of $60,140.63/second.

Those of us in Maine who have tracked Sen. Susan Collins for years know that her vote against this bill ONLY came after her party had enough votes to pass the measure. Rs said last week they were going to find a way for her to vote no because she's in a tight re-election race next year. #MEPolitics

Last night the Senate held likely the most important vote of 2025-6, encapsulating essentially the entire GOP agenda for the term.

Susan Collins cast a pivotal vote to get Trump's bill over the line, selling out the people of Maine. So how are Maine outlets covering it?

PPH isn't. #MEpolitics

The President’s decision to bomb Iran without the authorization of Congress is reckless, unconstitutional, and puts countless lives at risk—including U.S. troops in the region.

No President has the authority to launch a military attack against any country without Congressional authorization. (1/2)

Susan Collins has funneled $10K in recent years to a senator who's now making jokes about the assassination of a political rival -- and that doesn't include close to a million dollars she's sent to external groups that worked to elect him.

How many fringe creeps have you sent $10K to? #MEpolitics
Fake moderate Susan Collins gave $10k to this lunatic.

In tiny Calais, a town in a deep red Maine district, we got this wonderful turnout. Somewhere between 156-158 people showed up, AND IT WAS FUN. For this area, this is huge. Calais has never seen such a large political turnout. I am encouraged. Ron Welch
