Are we really not gonna at least mention impeachment?! In a world of obvious impeachable offenses, this might be pretty close to the top.
It doesn’t even matter if it doesn’t pass (although obviously it should). We should be talking about it. Members of Congress should discuss it publicly.

I’ve played with LLMs a fair amount and noticed something that these studies that show using LLMs degrading intellectual performance may not be picking up: What if having pretty good critical thinking skills makes LLMs less appealing/satisfying to use in the first place?

It’s blindingly obviously true that using government power or threats of government power to curb speech is categorically (and legally) different than using social sanction.
Also the vast majority of people in American don’t think that’s true and wouldn’t even be able to articulate the difference.
