I’m just going to block anyone attempting to justify or excuse pirating books. Times are hard, yes, but absolutely NO ONE needs to steal books. Libraries exist. There are umpteen works legitimately in the public domain. You don’t need to take income from authors trying to scrape a living.

Credit where credit is due: this take is exactly correct. Bunch of people on all sides of this thing are showing their whole asses by completely flipping the polarity of their responses to stuff based on their own intra-left factional alliances.

Nothing will make you despise Trump voters than spending time with Trump voters. A large number of Americans have abandoned decency and it extends to a lot more than just who they vote for. They are awful people, not just misled sweethearts.
