Local councils are giving the green light to large-scale pig and poultry farms with patchy or non-existent climate data.

These intensive farms are bad for animals, bad for us, and bad for the planet. Planning authorities must act accordingly.

Following the UK Government's decision to legalise the inhumane practice of catching chickens and turkeys by their legs, our friends @animallawfdn.bsky.social launched a legal challenge.

Sadly, the Loch of the Lowes osprey pair lost one of their eggs today.

LF25 accidentally stood on it when delivering a fish, then her mate, LM24, removed the empty shell a few hours later.

Accidents are to be expected with first time parents, but let's keep our fingers crossed for the other egg.
