@ryanburge.bsky.social reports NO change in LDS/Mormon vote, 2020-2024

This is meaningful bc the non-LDS vote moved +6 R (LDS +6 D vs. USA chg.)

"The conclusion...is unmistakable-the LDS electorate is not so strongly tied with the Republican party now."

Officers allegedly hurled slurs at him for doing so.

This doesn’t happen by chance. (Or lucky demographics)

It happens because people work everyday to make it happen. Support those people.
🔵NEW MAP: 81% (48/59) of suburban Utah metro Wasatch Front cities swung blue, 2020-2024.
📈Heavily Latino central cities like Ogden edged right a tiny bit--much less than other such US cities.
👀The 4-county area is the only major metro to not swing right in 2024: ATL, PIT, SEA were close, just +1 R.

Don’t piss off the unions
Union members submit a jaw-dropping 320,000 signatures — more than double the required amount — to put a referendum on the ballot against the legislature’s bill banning public employee unions from collective bargaining.

But no one is declaring victory yet: www.fox13now.com/news/politic... #utpol

Good morning.

Today is the 80th day that the U.S. President is running a backdoor bribery scheme in which any CEO or foreign oligarch can send him money secretly through his crypto coin scam in exchange for favors.

It's the biggest scandal in the history of the Presidency.

Trade deficit. I have bought food from say, Chilis. They have never bought food from me.

There is a trade deficit with Chilis. I’m still doing fine.

The trade deficit argument SOUNDS compelling, but it’s a straw man with no relevancy

Hey, remember Vivek? What happened to that guy?

(Also, just perfect encapsulation of how bad they are at this, because that dude would’ve been the perfect fall guy when this all goes belly up.)

Fox News was just praising an Idaho bill that would mandate cursive proficiency by 5th grade because they believed in a “conspiracy theory” that democrats don’t want people to read cursive because they don’t want people to be able to read the constitution. Dead serious.🧐

I met with somebody yesterday, whose brother is working for USAID in Ukraine helping get cash transfers to grain farmers. He said if they don’t get the money to buy the seed to put wheat into the ground in the next five weeks, there is no harvest in the fall. And likely no food to fight a war.
i don’t even know if crime is the right word for the illegal destruction of USAID. it is an autocratic power grab and a direct attack on the sovereignty of the american people
