This is naked extortion. The so-called "unlawful DEI principles" that this Vought fellow is on about? They're required by law. Every Administration since Reagan has signed off on it. Including Trump I. www.transportation.gov/civil-rights...

It's really amazing how much of the effort to retaliate is focused on people who're like, "Here are the things he said."

As if Charlie Kirk's legacy cannot stand real scrutiny.
Ashley Rindsberg and Fox News are furious at Wikipedia editors for “attacking” Charlie Kirk by... listing the viewpoints he prominently and publicly advocated

I am having a hard time reconciling "Charlie Kirk was a fierce advocate of open dialogue and free expression" with "we must identify and persecute everyone who is insufficiently mournful"
After Charlie Kirk's death, teachers and professors nationwide fired or disciplined over social media posts
At least a dozen faculty and staff have faced fallout over insensitive comments online.

The discourse over Kirk’s career is really hammering home how little the media and so many Dems understand the concept of lying or bad faith arguments.

An entire life dedicated to poisoning the well under the guise of ‘an exchange of ideas’ and nobody is capable of calling it out for what it was.
heres fucking democrats being stupid as shit after kirk was killed www.dailykos.com/stories/2025...

We don't yet have any idea what the ideology of the Kirk shooter was.

But we do know that the Denver school shooter was a far-right white supremacist.

When you publish a website that posts the names and photos of scholars who have written or said things you disagree with and encourage people to surveil and harass them, you are not, in fact, a “free speech” organization.
It is quite simply dishonest to describe TPUSA as a “free speech” organization and not even mention the “Professor Watchlist,” as NPR just did. Reporting on a crime does not entail adopting the victim’s views.

Political violence disproportionately hurts people with less power, not people with more power. Political violence will disproportionately hurt people of color and women and LGBTQ people. It’s not fair, but that’s the way it works. Celebrating political violence means at best indifference to that.
Political violence is bad. It usually begets more political violence.

Celebrating political violence is bad. It usually encourages more political violence, against various targets.

Campus shootings are bad. They make everyone on campus less safe.

It's bad that what I wrote here is controversial.

We have a bit of a natural experiment here. Compare the tone, quantity and duration of Charlie Kirk coverage with that of the two Dem lawmakers gunned down in their homes in Minnesota 6 months ago. May be revealing.
