i just read something about grief from C.S. Lewis and his book, “A Grief Observed”
basically, when someone you love dies, it isn’t just them that you miss, but the parts of yourself that person brought out of you that can never be brought out again.

FWIW I for one am ready to start referring to both Ackerman and the entire Cuomo campaign as "mangina" regardless of outcome.

I haven't logged into the skyline in a minute, but wanted to make sure it wasn't just me. If you absolutely need to call a time out, please have a plan to stop 4th and 17.

the 200-mile Seoul-Busan drive would take 16 hours on Chuseok when on normal days would take 4. (with KTX it’s now 2 hours) standstill traffic for 100+ miles. I don’t remember sitting in such traffic but I do remember hearing stories like cooking ramen in the middle of the highway with strangers
