People living with #ALS (PLWALS) need #socialsecurity disability. They are unable to work with loss of arms, legs, eating, and breathing.

People living with #ALS (PWLALS) count on #Medicare and Medicaid.

Medicare needs to be expanded to cover at least 40 hours of caregiving per week for PWALS.
The cost of care is outrageous and unaffordable. You can't leave someone at home who can't walk, breath, eat or use their hands.

FYI, the answer to the first question is 41%.

41% of all births in the United States are paid for by Medicaid.
Sen. Lujan asks RFK if he knows how many babies born in the U.S. are covered by Medicaid. RFK does not know. He asks RFK if Medicaid is a critical program. He says yes but "the premiums are too high, the deductibles are too high." Sir Medicaid is free

A per capita cap on Medicaid significantly impacts people in nursing homes by reducing benefits, decreasing quality of care, & access to nursing home services, as states are forced to cut costs due to fixed amount of funding per Medicaid recipient, especially impacting those w/high healthcare needs.

A Trump-appointed judge reversed it.

This is a lie Republicans created and perpetuate to condition you into accepting the loss of an earned benefit you paid for in every check you ever earned.
