Now is an especially fantastic time to be an obnoxiously loud supporter of art by trans and queer creators. Particularly the art that doesn’t bend over backwards to make itself as “safe” and palatable as possible for a “mainstream” audience.

I saw the Sunset Boulevard revival last weekend and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. Absolutely perfect show for me personally— musical theater guy AND film guy — to watch. I hardly knew anything going in and it FLOORED me.

I’m that nerd who’s made comics for a long as I can remember, but I started taking it seriously when I was maybe twelve or so? Early 90s ninja turtle comics made me like this.
