Every single time a story like this is reported, we must assume that there are many many more that do not.
CBP didn’t give her or anyone any water; she asked 3 times accg to other reports. CBP killed a 7yr old.

This is the aftermath of an ICE kidnapping a few blocks from my home in St. Paul—an hour ago. A quiet street full of broken glass and at least three wrecked cars. The target of the kidnapping was taken away by ambulance. He was on a stretcher and covered by a sheet, though a cop said he was alive.

One of every thousand American residents has been taken into custody by ICE in the last year.
A stunning detail the ICE chief shared in this hearing that was supposed to be a brag, except it isn't: ICE has arrested 379,000 people between Jan. 2025-Jan. 2026 -- but only 8,700 were suspected gang members or known suspected terrorists.

That's 2%! www.huffpost.com/entry/latest...

Today's birding trip! I took a real camera today and snapped these brants and even saw a sleepy little screech owl! Special, beautiful little creatures. 💕

If anyone is interested, this is the limited palette/gamut I used (8 colors + white) to make this piece. The green and pink neons mix to make a really warm orange/yellow ochre, which is just such fun color science!!! I love painting!!!

Painting of Key performing "Pleasure Shop" at Uncanny Valley Brooklyn in December 2025.

Acrylic Gouache on paper, February 6, 2026

Based on my own photo.
3 hour study.

Stunned at both how fun this was to paint and how happy I am with the result.

Wish I was back in Keyland. #shinee #shinee_key

Gonna do hourly comics again this weekend, and it will probably be much like last year, with lots of birds. Maybe with more existential anguish.

I've scanned & posted my 2015 HCD (for the birds) on my website here:

Today she got confused when she knocked a peanut off my hand and briefly considered whether she should go after it, even though she already had one in her beak. 🥹 Also the crows are impatient for their own snacks, as you can hear. 🐦‍⬛

"what is this style called" it's called too many eyeballs, colors that hurt and can't be reproduced with CMYK printing, and the incorporation of reflective 3D elements that make my work impossible to scan. Acrylic and foam tiles on paper, 11.5 x 14.5 in.

Please speak up for Rodney. A year in an ICE camp is beyond comprehension.

Public pressure works.

If enough people speak up, a life may be saved.

Many of the deaths in ICE custody have been due to medical neglect… let’s make sure Rodney isn’t one of them.

Full on concentration camps. "We don't know half of what's going on in the camps, but we know enough" is echoing from 85 years ago.
Kelly Vargas writes about what happened to her, her husband, and their 6yo daughter in the family camp in Texas.

Filth, illness, medical abuse—her child has lasting complications from being injured by a staff member.

We don't know the half of what's happening in the camps, but we know enough.
