Utterly pathetic
After sitting on this film for months, the BBC finally announce they won't broadcast it after its Director says Israel is committing war crimes and ethnic cleansing in Gaza (they are).

BBC says this isn't impartial because "Israel has denied accusations of war crimes" www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

You’re telling me that right wing voters that Labour was trying to appeal to voted for a right wing party anyway and left wing voters decided not to vote for Labour because they’re too right wing now? Who could have possibly predicted this.

I’m sorry but if your students use AI to write papers and you use AI to grade them zero school is happening. You are running together on a hamster wheel
Why even have a brain, any ideas, any ability to express them, any kind of communication with other people, any desire to solve problems or invent anything, any reason to learn, any use for your eyes or your heart, or any reason to teach or create

Awful and cowardly as this is, it should dispel any notion that large companies are an engine of social progress. When they say, "we believe our people are our greatest asset," they are lying. When they give public support to a progressive cause, it's marketing.

Ever think about how most all the big political actors and dictators of the 20th century personally experienced the horrors of war and bloodshed?

Meanwhile, we’re watching a U.S. coup carried out by men who have lived lives softer than that of your average inbred French Bulldog in a sweater.

The Greens, the LibDems, Plaid Cymru, all did better at the last election than ever.

They all have very good, progressive immigration policies.

Nobody has a clue what they are though. The media only GAF about anti-migrant politics.
surely the disillusionment comes in part from the media not covering Green or LibDem policy, but amplifying RW ideaology? A balanced media, focussed on facts would greatly help

That a dude with a couple cameras and a plate of appetizers can make something worth $82.5 million and a media company looks at that and goes "couldn't we make even more money if we had AI do it?" tells you exactly how stupid these people are
The $82.5 million sale of "Hot Ones" studio First We Feast is part of a broader strategy at BuzzFeed to shift away from human editors, writers and content producers in favor of artificial intelligence, which result in "high-margin, tech-enabled revenue lines."
BuzzFeed sells "Hot Ones" studio for $82.5 million as it pursues more AI-driven content
The company said the sale will allow it to depend less on human-created content in favor of "high-margin, tech-enabled revenue lines."
