The rich are astonishingly good at convincing poor people that other poor people are the reason they are poor.
Well, it’s a better suggestion than Madame Web I suppose…

Dear @netflix.com - clearly your algorithms are total shit. I mean, like, the worst algorithms in the world. If you did music would you be recommending Coldplay? If you did books, would you be recommending Dan Brown? This is on a par. Fuck you. It makes me want to drop my subscription .

Wow - this guy must be really, REALLY bad with money if an extra £208 per month will “ruin” his retirement.

Let’s take a look at his situation based on what he told the @Telegraph

Because this does NOT add up!

No, this is not a “poor pensioner” scrabbling around for pennies…

This @tntsportsbra.bsky.social coverage of The Ashes is the worst cricket coverage I have ever seen. Great idea to have your lead comms not be cricket specialists or be in the country where the action is.

We need an intervention and the coverage given back to @skysportspl.bsky.social

The BBC are accidentally running the subtitles to Mrs Marple over the Mercury Prize, and it’s rather wonderful. A few of lines could plausibly have been written by Jarvis.

ECHR offers protection against unfair dismissal from work, protects pension rights, maternity leave rights and protects women getting divorced. People who think it's a good idea to leave should be ridiculed like flat-earthers. The ignorance is astounding.

@jayforeman.bsky.social Just stumbled across this elsewhere. Obviously square is better than round, but any thoughts on the roundest country?

There’s no such thing as a fish and no such thing as a finger but, weirdly, there is such a thing as a fish finger.

This is really interesting and counter intuitive. Unless it’s wrong. Maine @jayforeman.bsky.social can confirm one way or the other…?

Sky TV’s current marketing campaign is terrible. “At Sky, the best is yet to come in 2025”? I should hope so - we’re less than a fortnight in, if the year’s already peaked we’re in trouble…

The #NFL knows how spoil UK fans - Jets, Browns and Jags for London games in 2025. Only three of the worst teams in the league. I thought they might be serious about expanding the fanbase but seems they want to actively turn us off the sport.

I’m reminded of this rather grim story about the immense amount of marketing younger writers now need to do to sell (and they better look hot while doing it).

as one quoted writer says, you have to either have BIG family money or be brilliant at self promotion to survive nowadays.
