Netflix have added a film they think I might like. It’s called Unicorn Academy Holiday Fireplace. Yesterday the thought I’d like Madame Web. There’s probably a greater chance of me enjoying this…

Dear @netflix.com - clearly your algorithms are total shit. I mean, like, the worst algorithms in the world. If you did music would you be recommending Coldplay? If you did books, would you be recommending Dan Brown? This is on a par. Fuck you. It makes me want to drop my subscription .

I don’t like the majority of superhero movies and this was said to be one of the worst ever made. I have no idea what Netflix are thinking but if this is supposed to entice me to retain my subscription Netflix are sadly wrong. This feels more like an intervention - a wake up call - “you don’t need Netflix, Ben - look what Netflix thinks of you. They’ve reduced you to someone who might like Madame Web…” Get me into rehab immediately. Once I’m out I’ll start apologising to everyone I’ve wronged…
