And what a failure you’ve made of that life, Mike. An opportunity to make the world better, completely squandered.
Mike Johnson: "I was the product of an unplanned teen pregnancy exactly one year before Roe. A lot of people tried to convince my very young parents that they should just take care of that problem. But I am eternally grateful that they allowed me the chance at life."

Donald Trump is a pedophile rapist who trafficked children.

The entire Republican party knows this, and it has turned the federal government into a machine to cover up his depravity.

There are no good Republicans. None. Zero. Republicans protect rapists and abusers because that's who they are.
Keep saying it.

Trump isn't just in the Epstein files, he is the Epstein files.

The DOJ is spending millions and millions and dollars to cover it up.

This is such an important point. This family tried to follow the rules.

The distinction is going to get more important when they start mass deporting the people whose TPS status Trump revoked. They’ll call them “illegal” too, even though they were here legally until Trump yanked the rug.
People are missing a big thing about the saga of the detained 5-year-old. When Vance calls the father an "illegal alien" it seems to reflect a little-known Trump admin move that attempts to nullify asylum claims before they are even heard.

This policy is a horror:

Don't forget the Supreme Court's role facilitating ICE's brutality and racism in Minneapolis. SCOTUS lifted an injunction that limited racial profiling in immigration enforcement on Sept. 8. The federal assault on Chicago began the next day. Then came the Twin Cities. SCOTUS greenlit these horrors.

ICE used a warrantless forced entry to arrest a US citizen with no criminal record. Rather than acknowledge error, they smeared the family, saying they were harboring sex offenders and critics were defending sex offenders.
Turns out that one of their targets was already in jail. ICE never checked.

I honestly wonder how much of this is deeply psychological for Vance, the inability to reconcile that people can love their neighbors so much when his own mother abandoned him.
Vance in MN: "It's really cold outside. We in the Trump administration want to deport criminal aliens who are sex offenders. It takes a certain level of committed to sex offender criminal aliens to stand outside in -40 temperatures and attack the vice president, but they're committed to the bit."

It’s hard to accurately describe what is happening in Minneapolis without sounding crazy.

Another day, another outrage; ICE under Trump is going to deport dozens of people to Iran, including two gay men previously arrested by the regime who face the death penalty for their orientation, and despite the ongoing crackdowns which have killed thousands.

An administration of total inhumanity.

Seems almost quaint at this point, but Patel and Bondi both testified under oath at their confirmation hearings that this would not happen.

Does the ICE agent stay quiet while he sobs?
Does he try to comfort Liam? Or get frustrated and lash out at the five-year-old’s despair?
Does the agent secure his seatbelt? Is Liam big enough to not need a car seat?
