Sad to hear about the passing of the Michelangelo of Movie posters, RENATO CASARO. The Man painted so many iconic posters, specially in the 70s/80s: CONAN, TERMINATOR, DUNE, TOTAL RECALL, DANCE WITH THE WOLVES, BLOW OUT, FLASH GORDON, RAMBO, NEVER-ENDING STORY, and the list goes on and on. 1/2

UPDATE: a friend reminded me about this tidbit from World of Thedas 2:
"Ice skating – during the winter in Nevarra, people often skate on the frozen over Minanter river."
So it's canon now. Emmrich ice-skates. He instantly manifests a scarf when doing so.

would sincerely buy a book by the Dragon Age devs, like a super specific World of Thedas, that was entirely just them riffing on the fashion+style of all the different countries in Thedas - nobles, commoners, where there's crossover from trade, which country has the most coveted silks etc #dragonage

Video game characters are not actually real. They don’t bleed, they can’t get their feelings hurt, they can’t be betrayed because they are a collection of pixels and code and words and sound files.
The game devs I’m lucky to work with are real people who deserve at least basic human respect.

Well. I thought the trick and "bad" endings for DAV and Solas were great and I'm glad they exist for those of us who might want to go a different route. It doesn't invalidate the redeem ending, or the people who view Solas as more victim than villain. But you gotta allow differing opinions.
