"Thagomizer" in Japanese is, in fact, サゴマイザー/sagomaizaa, and you can imagine my delight when it dawned on me what the katakana I was reading represented.
Come to think of it, Johnny, what's the Thagomizer called in Japanese?

The only proven treatments for ADHD are either uppers or coming up with increasing elaborate ways to trick yourself.
It is really frustrating that almost all advice you see about ADHD tends to be a rotation of the same suggestions, like "use body doubling" or "gamify it" or "use a timer," etc.

It's not that these things do not help, it's just . . . is that it? There's nothing that helps more deeply?

Agh, my brain just started playing "There are no cats in America" to the tune of "America" from West Side Story.

There are no cats in America
Nothing but rats in America
Cheeses are free in America
(For a small fee in America!)

or something like that...

So I, a retail employee, have to change my work password every two months just to be able to sign off on my time cards, and the Louvre gets to keep the same password for its surveillance system for 11 years.

This is what class privilege looks like.
the password to the louvre surveillance server was "louvre"
