Sooooo…

Donald Trump has been listening to Peter Navarro, that guy who went to prison for him, on tariffs.

And Peter created a fictitious expert, “Ron Vara,” an anagram of his name, to push these tariffs?

This tracks.

Protest are really, really, really, really, really, really important.

Protests matter.

Everything matters .
Every interview I’ve done with international media has included the question: “Why are there no mass protests?” - with the assumption being that Americans are either all on board or just too lazy. Really important to push back hard against such notions. The failure is on the institutional level.
feels worth flagging that we've now had sustained disparate protest and One Big Day protest at or above the scale of 2017 so it might be time to drop the "public reaction to trump has been more muted in his second term" spiel

This is unbelievable. Cross him! There is power in numbers. The sooner we do this the less damage he can cause. It’s safe to cross him now, but it won’t be forever. He will start disappearing citizens next. Let’s work together to stop him before that happens.
‘Everyone is terrified’: Business and government officials are afraid to cross Trump on tariffs

While lobbyists, business leaders, and lawmakers are worried about Trump’s tariffs, there’s a culture of fear in Washington preventing many from speaking out.

Six international students at UCLA had their visas revoked, likely because of student activism. Six people who were at the top of their class at home and came to this country because of its values and defense of liberties. They came to do the good, rigorous work HERE. What a betrayal by this Govt.

Despite ongoing measles outbreaks, the Trump administration is slashing budgets and staffing for the very agency that protects communities from deadly diseases.

Trump is making Americans sicker and poorer to give tax breaks to billionaires.

If we have normal elections, and Democrats are able to get back in power we need to take a long hard look at how to enact the same kind of anti-corruption laws that helped prevent another Nixon for decades and decades and decades.

Trade deficit. I have bought food from say, Chilis. They have never bought food from me.

There is a trade deficit with Chilis. I’m still doing fine.

The trade deficit argument SOUNDS compelling, but it’s a straw man with no relevancy
