NEW: reports today from @l-toczylowski.bsky.social and others that ICE has begun efforts to dismiss cases pending in immigration court for less than two years — so that they can then immediately arrest the same people and put them through “expedited removal,” skipping the court process entirely.

What this article doesn’t make clear is that Beachwood (a Cleveland suburb) has been a Jewish enclave since WWII. The population is about 90% Jewish. It’s the home of the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage, which is half a mile from this branch. This was not a random act.

✈️👀 the 17th US deport to Venezuela this year was Tuesday deporting 226 people including the 2-year old in the Tribune article below who was separated from her mother who was previously deported. This makes 2,918 US deportees and 1,500 Returns from Mexico (5 planes) for a total of 4,418 this year.

Hours ago, @politico.com revealed that DOGE is working with DHS on automating mass deportation efforts — likely explaining why many US citizens, green card holders, and even a Canadian (in Canada) got threatening emails last night terminating “your parole” and telling them to leave the US in 7 days.
