Bluesky isn’t anywhere near as dead as the detractors claim.

But it does have its quiet periods. Whole expanses of 30-40 minutes where nothing new shows up on my feed.

And you know what? I like that. It’s a good encouragement to, ya know, look up, and… do… other things.
