I don't understand why apologizing for a mistake and pledging to fix is so difficult.

@plagman.bsky.social Where would be a place to talk shop with tinkerers? I am receiving a lot of questions/requests for suspend-then-hibernate and I have made it quite easy to prepare. But steam seems to hi-jack the power button and does not respect system.d settings and always calls sleep instead.

No, they think they are not defective by making others look defective. The old saying goes, imagine how frustrating an average US citizen and 50% of US population supports this administration.
the fact that so many people frame autism as “a problem that needs to be solved” is a constant reminder that being “not normal” isn’t acceptable to a large amount of the world. it’s the same reason there’s a trans panic right now too. they think people are defective

If AMD ever wants to effectively compete with Nvidia they will need to make die space efficient GPUs. Because in the unlikely scenario that AMD starts eating into Nvidia's volume. Nvidia has more room to lower prices than AMD does.

Fix coming.
JFY: DOOM The Dark Ages doesn’t launch on the Steam Deck and crashes during the intro. Unfortunately, I haven’t found any workaround so far. Unless @plagman.bsky.social and team are working on a fix, TDA won’t be playable on the Deck for now.
