Let’s make one thing clear from the start: Charlie Kirk was the victim of a shooting in a country where he, along with other right-wing extremist influencers, have been inciting violence for years. — Kirk is neither a martyr nor a hero, he is a cause.

there are some people who weren't worth the precious currency of my time when they were alive, and certainly have not somehow become more deserving of it when they are not.

Wow. It would be SUCH A SHAME if people went to PublicSquare to find their local pro-MAGA businesses. You absolutely, positively shouldn’t do it. Really, don’t.

What if the fastest way to challenge human rights abuses in El Salvador’s mega prison isn’t politics—but your wallet? A strategic boycott of Salvadoran-made goods could hit hardest where it counts.

I never DNF a book. I’ll compulsively finish a book I’m not particularly enjoying. But if you put there is LQBTQ+ rep in a book as a TW, I will never read a word past that. Ever.

I was talking to a woman walking her dog today. I tried seeing if the dog wanted to say hi and they obviously did not. She explained that her dog was previously abused.

Her: She really doesn’t like any men.

Me: Me either.

I didn’t finish my lunch yesterday and forgot my container in the fridge. I wasn’t planning to be back in the office this week and they have a policy to throw out lunch containers left in the fridge over the weekend. So I drove the 25 miles to work this morning to retrieve it…

While serving as a juror we walked in an out of the courtroom countless times. One juror always made it a point to hold the door for everyone else. Always going in last. Then another guy started holding the door when he was there first. Then a third person.
