When your house is on fire do you save money by not putting it out, only to deal with the far greater expense of homelessness and starvation? And starting the whole neighborhood on fire too?

So fucking tired of hearing that getting off coal oil gas is too expensive.

We’re homeless if we don’t.

I might believe the concern about environmental toxins more if they weren’t terminating EPA research grants, proposing to roll back the Mercury and Air Toxics rule, promoting coal and killing renewables, etc.

Watch what they do, not what they say.

Bringing this to Bsky bc @steverattner.bsky.social hasn't posted it yet and it's so critical. The entirety of the cuts to Medicaid and food benefits are to pay for tax cuts for people earning more than half a million a year.

Can someone explain this to me?

Is the idea to fund tax cuts for the super-wealthy by letting unemployed people die without proper medical care?

Is there something I am missing here?

We can it a “wave of love” 💕

Sometimes overwhelmed with such strong feelings for these 2. They are so beautiful and smart and sweet and loving. And so well behaved.

Cherishing every moment of our (hoped for) 12-14 years together.

They turn 6 on July 31.

Have another sister and their mom too.

Wait, it saves money, creates jobs, makes us healthier, gives true energy independence at any scale, and saves life on earth as we know it?

Hmmm, such a difficult choice 🙄
NEW | Mexico’s goal to reach 45% renewable electricity by 2030 would avoid $1.6 Bn in annual gas imports from the US and create 434K jobs 🇲🇽

It would also deliver 10x the fuel cost savings and nearly 2x more jobs compared to the alternative 36% pathway.

Coal oil and gas is on the way out simply due to economics.

The problem is entrenched infrastructure and power will delay the too long normal transition, when we need to speed it.

Plus we’re losing tech/ economic leadership. So f*cking stupid for the planet, the country, the economy.
And there goes another 33-40% of crude oil demand in the long haul …
