Amphipathic helices sense the inner nuclear membrane environment through lipid packing defects
Amphipathic helices (AHs) are ubiquitous protein motifs that modulate targeting to organellar membranes by sensing differences in bulk membrane properties. However, the adaptation between membrane-tar...

Every MLK Day, I reflect on my father’s Dream of justice, freedom, unity, and peace. Today, that vision feels fragile, but his message of infinite hope endures. As my mother said, "Freedom is never really won."

Let’s honor them and commit to building a world rooted in love.

Inna Nikonorova is presenting her latest work on signaling extracellular vesicles produced by C. elegans cilia. She developed a method for profiling EV subtypes and that can be applied in any system. This #cellbio2024 session is amazing!!!
It is an exciting time to work on cilia!

Join us 5 pm Sun at #cellbio2024 to talk about new roles for cilia in neuron-glia communication, as cellular transmitters, and even in chromosome segregation in meiosis!
