Here's the latest variant picture with a global scope.

XEC.* variants took over dominance from DeFLuQE variants during December, but they are already under pressure.

The LP.8.1.* group of variants have emerged as a challenger, rising steadily to around 10%.

My outfit is so cute today!💜 It’s still kind of cold (13°C), most people are wearing wool coats or puffer jackets, but I didn’t want to cover up my ‘fit so I just wore thermals underneath. The giant tote bag kinda ruins it but I have my AirFanta 4Lite in there. 😅

🔥 Last month was the world's warmest January on record.

🤯 And yet Labour are backing climate-wrecking airport expansion and more oil & gas.

💚 We need real investment in renewables, home insulation and public transport to bring down bills AND emissions.

Where is the change we were promised by Labour? Where is the prevention in an ongoing pandemic? Why are children being harmed? We don’t know the full ramifications of this SARS virus.

I am not going to say more evidence is needed… even though it is. I’m gonna say more caution is needed esp the kids. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Today, MPs have the chance to vote the #CANBill through to the ‘Committee Stage’ where this plan for bold climate & nature will be scrutinised by Parliament.

Starmer now wants to block it.
Why?
Fearful that once a light is shone on our inadequate action, Gov will actually have do something?
This is extraordinary! The Government says it will expel MPs if they vote for the Climate & Nature Bill for the vital action to protect our environment—backed by thousands of scientists, NGOs, councils and businesses.

It should be a vote of conscience. What are they thinking??!

We are dismayed that the Health Secretary has utterly misinterpreted the evidence from the Inquiry. Although Ritchie restated her flawed beliefs, the evidence is overwhelming, and was presented to the Inquiry, that the primary mode of transmission of SarsCov2 is airborne.

Someone has written that zero C19 advocates want it to be “deadly” to kids.

Erm. No. I have a kid out there in unmitigated classrooms. I really do not want C19 to be any worse than it is.

Also, I’m not an evil person, so I don’t want anyone else’s kids dropping dead either.
