I will continue to yell about this: COPS HAVE NO DUTY TO PROTECT YOU FROM
ANYTHING

They are not required, by law, to do anything to save you from anything.

Additionally:
“To Protect and Serve” is the winner of a catchphrase contest in LA in the 50s

Copaganda has broken American brains.
Also, our rights are mostly negative, not positive: you do NOT have a right to safety.

Not being glib. SCOTUS held in Castle Rock that the police dept’s on-going refusal to arrest a man violating a restraining order did not violate his ex-wife’s rights, even after he murdered her and daughters.
Batya might be just fine with a dudetrustme basis for a terrorist designation, but Americans with a functioning moral compass actually expect a plausible public rationale for who is to be treated as a terrorist in our name.

Very interesting how Democrats refused to pledge support to Mamdani, but will happily make room for Marjorie Taylor Greene, the lady who was allegedly rumored to be part of the J6 Insurrection.

This deal to reopen the government is fucking disgraceful.

Tens of millions will lose their healthcare. Trump will be emboldened.

This is exactly what’s wrong with Democratic Party leadership and why we need more people in Congress who will actually hold the line.

Geez. Shouldn't we pay our soldiers enough so they don't have to be on SNAP?

This is good, and should actually make us feel better.

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson temporarily blocked a ruling that required Trump to fully fund SNAP because she’s playing chess, not checkers. She sent it back to the lower courts for a reason. 👀
