I am probably beating a dead horse to a degree, but I blame far-left dipshits like Hasan Piker for this. They dominated political online commentary from 2020 to 2024, and they spent most of that time bashing liberals, giving the MAGA disinformation ecosystem the time and space to reorganise.

I despise the state of online political commentary. It's almost completely dominated by far-right lunatics and propagandists. What matters the most, and is really damaging, is that they control narratives. They decide and push the topics talked about online.
