I really wish we could cause an evolution on how the news covers pedestrians, cyclists and vehicle drivers. The car didn't strike a cyclist, the driver (a person) of a car struck a cyclist (a person) on their bike. Make it personal because it is. Citizens deserve to be able to get around safely.

Not a single legislator that voted for yesterday’s bill will ever content with its terrible consequences.
That’ll be up to caregivers, clinicians, and unsung people trying to do the right thing who are left to shoulder the burden.
