This <20% thing got me. I agree with some parts of this thread. In the end the lefts purity test is self defeating. The right doesn’t care if their numbers are the vilest of people as long as they have their votes they won’t pounce. There is a moral standing I won’t cross to accept someone though..

That’s only appropriate, given that what I say in this thread is about exactly that: how utterly meaningless everything is right now besides saving America—because without rule of law and democracy, nothing we dream of will ever come true.
