The past couple days have made it clear that arresting and prosecuting Johnathan Ross isn’t just the right thing to do, it is necessary to prevent future violence by ICE who have interpreted the situation as “we can do that to whoever we want”
A woman recording an ICE agent tells him "Shame on you."

The agent responds, "Have you all not learned from the past couple of days?"

"Learned what?" she asks

Then he knocks her phone out of her hand

I will say, if it’s Bears-Eagles next week, I think the Eagles D will be very fired up not to get destroyed on the ground again

Agreed all around. Doc has never been afraid to speak up on issues like this, which is commendable and I’d imagine earns him a lot of respect from his players too

For sure. But I would vastly prefer the Panthers lol

We're having to treat the federal government as an emergency on the level of COVID.
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minneapolis school system says it will offer families remote learning amid federal immigration enforcement in the city.

Kudos to Doc and Kerr for speaking out this strongly.

It’s a shame they have more of a backbone than most politicians, but kudos nonetheless.
Milwaukee Bucks coach Doc Rivers called the fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good by a federal agent in Minneapolis “straight-up murder” on Friday, hours after fellow NBA coach Steve Kerr commented on federal officials’ response to the incident.

Barring injury, Kevin Durant is likely going to retire as the fourth-highest scorer in NBA history *at worst*.

Depending on how long he plays, he still has an outside shot of cracking the top three.

Congrats to Kevin Durant of the Houston Rockets for moving into 7th on the all-time SCORING list!

But didn't you hear? The Grizzlies are building around him moving forward!

Paul George is stacking really good games for the Sixers. Joel Embiid is playing a different brand of basketball that should inspire some hope in the playoffs.

The whole team is playing really good basketball:

"It's shameful that the government can come out and lie about what happened when there's video and witnesses who have all come out and disputed what the government is saying."

Warriors coach Steve Kerr was asked about the ICE shooting in Minneapolis. Here are his full comments:

Tonight was the Wizards’ 37th game of the year.

Gotta ditch pick protections entirely if you want to stop teams from tanking to avoid conveying a pick.
January 10, 2026 at 2:45 AM
The NBA is very super serious about policing tanking though
Wizards are done messing around

Much like last year, if we have to sacrifice the Sixers in January for the Eagles… so be it
The Sixers shot 5.9% (1-for-17) from 3PT in the first half tonight vs. Orlando.

That's their worst 3PT% in a half since Feb. 4, 2021, when they shot 0% (0-for-10) in the first half against the Portland Trail Blazers.

There's gonna be more GOP outrage about Zohran and Ms. Rachel visiting a preschool than there is about an ICE agent shooting an innocent woman in the face, isn't there

This is tailor-made to piss off the worst people on the planet.

Well done, king.
This morning, Ms. Rachel and I visited District 2 Pre-K Center, where we sang and read with the wonderful students and educators. We also discussed universal childcare - and how we're making it happen for NYC!

AD's injury might be a blessing in disguise for the Mavericks. This is the last year they control their first-round pick until 2031. This might be their best shot at landing a co-star for Cooper Flagg who's on the same timeline.

They're only three games ahead of WAS for the 4th-worst record...
