I feel similarly. IF this McCain trade is some sort of building stone for another move, then I can re-evaluate.
But if it's just this, it'd be pretty hard to deny it was just to duck the tax. To do that to this team right now... yikes.

I’m expecting more to come, so I’m holding off before stamping this deadline as one thing or another. But if the Sixers’ headlining move is trading a fan favorite for a late first and some change just to duck the tax (again)… godspeed to them.

I'm not a doctor nor do I know the intricacies of Karl-Anthony Towns' back issue.. but it seems like a REALLY bad idea to have him playing when it's clearly bothering him this much.
Just thinking long-term, I don't know that the back is something you want to mess with.
