I'm tired, Sixers play again tomorrow, let's make this quick: Good win. Most impressed by Trendon Watford, Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, Kelly Oubre

and VJ Edgecombe down the stretch. Had a quiet/rough one overall but had a few great buckets in the final mins to help secure win.

Sixers injury report vs the Raptors on Saturday (1st of b2b)

Jared McCain is listed as AVAILABLE. Joel Embiid is not listed at all — certainly looks like they'll use him Saturday's game instead of Sunday's.

Dominick Barlow (elbow) and Paul George (knee) remain out.

"Rest assured, this is a medical team that Paul George has been working closely with regularly throughout his rehab and recovery from the surgery...

In fact, it sounds much more like a positive step rather than any indication of a bump in the road." ⬇️

Paul George meeting doctors this weekend for ‘last hurdle’ in surgery recovery, says Nurse
Paul George will meet with doctors this weekend in what Nick Nurse has called a ‘last hurdle’ towards a turn to games.

The Sixers are off again today. Tomorrow, they begin another back-to-back: Sat vs. Raptors and Sun vs. Pistons.

It's already Philly's 3rd b2b. They have 16 this season.

At least they're home for this next one I guess???

Final time played for the Sixers tonight...
Tyrese Maxey - 36:27
Kelly Oubre Jr. - 37:58
VJ Edgecombe - 37:13

...in a game that hadn't been competitive through the last full period + the last few mins of Q3 (20-point deficit).
November 6, 2025 at 2:43 AM
Yes, I'm still yappin about this. I'm almost done, I swear.

Tyrese Maxey had 25 minutes played at the end of Q3, Sixers down 20. A back-to-back. Great time to get a guy averaging 42mins some rest..

He played 11 MINS OF Q4, despite the game not becoming competitive again. Unreal.
November 6, 2025 at 2:35 AM
Absolutely hate Nick Nurse's decision to send Tyrese Maxey back on the court for Q4 with the Sixers down +20 points on this second leg of a back-to-back. He's still out there!!! 32 minutes and counting

That's how guys burn out/get hurt!

big Red Panda fan here and I completely agree with Gina.

I think the key to the Sixers winning this game vs. Cavs is someone tucking in the tag on the back of Nick Nurse's shirt!!!

yes, the Sixers play again in a few mins.

see you over on @libertyballers.bsky.social!

The Sixers, on the second leg of a back-to-back, visit the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight — a strengthening team on two days rest having not played since Sunday night.

This one is going to be tough. 😫

I was going to be off-duty for @libertyballers.bsky.social social tonight but I'm a sicko and want to see/yap about Jared McCain's return

see you over there!

Jared McCain is ready to go for tonight's Sixers at Bulls matchup, the Sixers have posted on socials!
Just upgraded to AVAILABLE!!!

It took the Sixers until Dec. 4, their 19th game, to hit 5 wins last season. The Sixers are 5-1 to start this season.

And with 5 wins, the Sixers are 20.8% of the way to their 2024-25 win TOTAL (24), having played just 7.3% of this season so far.

BIG injury report development from the Sixers for Tuesday vs. Bulls... Jared McCain (thumb and knee surgeries) is now PROBABLE to play!

This would be McCain's first game since Dec. 13, 2024 👀

Quentin Grimes had a rough final play in the Philadelphia 76ers’ loss to the Boston Celtics last week. On Sunday, he made up for it.

Sixers are up in NYC tonight to take on the Brooklyn Nets, who are 0-5 to start the season.

Joel Embiid is OUT (injury management) as well as Dominick Barlow (elbow), Paul George (knee) and Jared McCain (thumb).
November 2, 2025 at 2:18 PM
Let me preface this by saying it is NOT why the Sixers lost tonight... but my goodness, Tyrese Maxey still gets one of the worst whistles in the NBA.
November 1, 2025 at 1:53 AM
Not sure what exactly what was drawn up in the timeout... but just inexcusable for the Sixers to not even get a shot up in the last 3.5 seconds (Embiid's was after the horn)...

ZERO idea what Quentin Grimes was doing here. Brutal.
November 1, 2025 at 1:52 AM
A loss finally comes. But it wasn't a horrendous one, by any means.

From being down 24 points early and struggling with seemingly endless turnovers throughout... that was one hell of a fight from the Sixers at the end.
Sixers can't hit the last second shot. They fall for the first time this season, 109-108. Philadelphia are 4-1.
