Every agent must be investigated, and many need to be imprisoned for their actions.

In any future government, with or without ICE itself, you can't move forward on public trust or any semblance of professionalism if the GOP paramilitary is allowed to have gone this far.

As the new leader of the world’s 1.4 billion Catholics, Pope Leo XIV’s handling of clergy sexual abuse will be closely scrutinized. Two cases have left him open to starkly diverging judgments — praise for helping victims in one, claims that he let them down in the other.
Is Pope Leo a Man of Action on Sexual Abuse Cases? Or the Opposite?
For some survivors, he was a hero. Others who reported abuse said he failed them.

It was never just about schools, it was never just about libraries, and it isn't actually about the books.

It's about finding a way to banish entire people, entire ideas, out of society, back into the closet or worse.

🧵I get a lot of questions about what will happen to Social Security payments. The way I see it, there are 3 factors that will impact payments, all of which will feed off each other to exponentially increase the likelihood that SSA will miss payments: backlogs, error, and system failure.

To put more emphasis on this: Hundreds of thousands of Americans in at least 1400 cities and towns across the country, including in heavily Republican areas that never protest, protested Trump and Musk and their 401Ks being wiped out yesterday, and it’s NOT a main front page story in the Times.
And the only mention of it on the actual print front page is just an image with a caption telling people they need to turn to page 18 to read about it. Not worthy of a front page story, apparently.
