Look low to the east in early dawn Saturday morning the 17th to catch Venus shining brightly in its Morning Star role. To its upper right by about a fist at arm's length look for Saturn.

Folks, I will inform you that not only do the Amish buy groceries, they go to CostCo to do so. The Amish have CostCo memberships. The CostCo in Lancaster, PA has a horse and buggy stable in the parking lot.

Prion disease in general is an absolute set of interlocking nightmare scenarios and it's one of those areas where talking to experts makes you MORE freaked out, not less.

Like, go look up how prevalent CWD is in cervids in. In hotspot states it's a coin toss for deer, elk's not as bad but you're still looking at a minimum 5% chance of processing an elk with prion disease.

hey so go to the ER if this happens and the antibiotics don't work in 2 days you probably need IV antibiotics and a longer course of something that isn't first line.
I'm finally getting pain relief but it took 8 hours in the er Friday.

Hey friends don't neglect your dental care for 5 years you end up with a massive tooth infection that I had to confirm swelling is outside the part of the face that kills you (it is) and needs high antibiotics and I'm ALSO trying to draw it out with salt water

The right for autistic people with intellectual disabilities (and other disabled people) to live outside of institutions was only granted by the US Supreme Court in 1999.
Perioidic reminder that the reason you didn't see autistic people with intellectual disabilities on the street five decades ago was not because they didn't exist. It's because they were sent away to institutions and their parents were told to put away pictures of them.
