Family’s where you find it, and you don’t always find it where you spawn in.
I hope none of you are pressured to attend thanksgiving with toxic family

It's okay to spend it with good friends instead fr. I'm tired of people saying otherwise.

Celebrate for the people that love you not for the lies that holiday was build on.

I read a book about gay people and became gay and then I read a book about straight people and became straight again and then I read a book about Australians and became Australian and then I read a book about Bigfoot and became Bigfoot.

Book-banners are weak knuckleheads.

/3 Anyway, a reminder: when people are proud to be a piece of shit, insist on treating them like a piece of shit.

You’ll get some hand-wringing about cancel culture but not from anyone worth listening to.

But playing video games IS woke.
You're being put in the shoes of another person who you inevitably grow empathetic towards. It's not like a book where you can relate to characters in the third person - in video games you are the person things are happening to.
I genuinely believe there should be a movement of declaring playing videogames as woke. I think it would be hilarious

*lifts hood* Ohhhh, that’s your problem right there. You needed a normal deregulation Republican regime, but somebody installed the unhinged toddler Caligula regime instead. Ooh, yeah, that’s a problem. *sucks teeth* Fix it? No, no, you’re gonna need a complete rebuild and it’s gonna be expensive.
J.P. Morgan econs on Trump’s latest are “increasingly concerned that the policy mix may tilt into an unintentionally far less business-friendly stance. The sustained 25% tariff on Canada and Mexico set to start this weekend is materially different than the tariff increases built into our baseline.”

That's it. It's official. I'm done with people. I don't care anymore. Society is fucked.

*someone shows me the slightest bit of attention*

Okay I'm back in.

The candles at the points of the pentagram flickered. A demon appeared.

"Do you do Black Friday deals?" the conjuror said.

"What?"

"Like, unlimited knowledge and worldly pleasures, for less than my soul?"

"Actually, it was five souls, but today it's only one."

"Oh? That's cheap!"

Sometimes I regret including furry content in my course (solely because of assholes who misrepresent it), but then I see 20 students with huge smiles sharing fursonas they made and talking about how it helped them realize something about themselves they hadn't known. Then I remember why it matters.

I worry sometimes about not writing enough, that I waste too much time. Then I think about the lines “The limits of art cannot be delivered. There is no artist whose talent is fulfilled.”

Which sentiment was written by a gent named Ptahhotep.

In 2600 BC.
