Absolutely incredible; after shooting Marimar Martinez 5 times and arresting her on claims that she rammed them and pulled a gun, prosecutors have now moved to dismiss ALL criminal charges against her and her codefendant.
New: the govt has moved to dismiss its assault case against Marimar Martinez and Anthony Ian Santos Ruiz, two people accused of "box[ing] in" a Border Patrol vehicle in Chicago on Oct. 4.

I saw people talking up game of the year contenders on the other site & having recently finished Expedition 33 (finally beat Simon!) I would be shocked if that didn't win.
It simply checks all the boxes of what I want in a game, even if I don't love the ending as much as I did the journey there.

A very simple thing you can do is stop linking to the NYT.
I know they do some good reporting but they are also actively upholding facism and working to subvert democracy and shaping your world view.
It is more work but it is better if we start starving harmful institutions.

While the latest #GQuuuuuuX episode freaked me out it definitely got me thinking.
I am tired of these kind of multiverse stories immediately eating their own tail & being endlessly self-referential at a franchise level. That said, this one worked for me (I think).

It's like that bit in Halo where you're back on board the crashed Pillar of Autumn and the Covenant and the Flood are fighting each other, and they're a bit crap at it but still both sides are taking a lot of damage and you can either stay safe and watch or... get in and mix it up a bit.
