The thing about CrunchyRoll’s enshittification is that normally I’m a big proponent of supporting official channels but if the money from subscriptions isn’t being used to pay talent and labour and the quality suffers as a result, then morally what’s the purpose of supporting those official means?

Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

So, a thing I've said repeatedly is that if you have online friends in different countries, you should be able to also get the day off. Are you in the UK and have American friends online? You should also get Thanksgiving. Hell, two Thanksgivings if you have Canadians friends, too.

I forget that I suffer from motion sickness most of the time, living in London means slowish travel over short distances, or getting a train. Luckily there are small and bumpy countryside roads up North to remind me 😵💫
