The funny thing about a certain type of angry conspiracy guy is that they’re literally being confronted with an elite paedophile ring and a tyrannical government at the same time right now, and because it isn't being done by the people they wanted it to be done by they’re all being pussies about it

they're executing moms and nurses in the street. they're using preschoolers as bait. they're stealing people's dads and grandmas and children. they're tear gassing babies. they're staking out schools. there is no remedy but abolition. any proposal that doesn't start there is an act of violence.

A hypothetical for conservatives: What if the US passes a law to take back everyone’s guns by force. If federal agents bust into your home to take your guns away, would you just let them, or resist? And if you resisted, would feds be totally justified in shooting and killing you?

there is some level of gleeful participation in state-sponsored brutality at which i think people forfeit their humanity. this isn't banality of evil stuff, people "just doing their jobs." they enjoy it. they only understand and respect physical violence and terror

People stating that they are citizens when being detained by ICE as if it would be justified to detain them if they were not citizens. Citizen or not, ICE should back the fuck off.

“Everyone should be allowed to carry a gun for their safety but the government can murder you in the street if you have a gun” is an incredible endpoint for the conservative moment

why did so many millennials read so many newspaper comics? easily 60 percent of my reading diet in elementary/middle school was collected editions of calvin and hobbes, farside, dilbert, peanuts, doonesbury (!), foxtrot (?!?) and i know im not alone. historically unique phenomenon
rather than talk about Scott Adams I want to talk about something weirder (me). Who else was really into Dilbert when you were 12. Who else was like, boy, I can't wait to work a cubicle job

Easy to read, funny, pre-internet ways for entertainment. Also, they were big parts of the school book sale and in the school library.
AAA video games should cost $100 on launch. this would still be extremely cheap for the amount of time and enjoyment you get out of them! But an audience of whiny babies has kept them literally at the same price for *two decades* despite both general inflation *and* sector-specific costs rising

Head to a protest today. I can almost promise you will feel less hopeless. That's exactly what they don't want. There are more of us than there are of them.

This administration is frothing at the mouth to gun down a protester. They see it as a win-win: 1) fewer “left wing radicals” 2) “What are you going to do about it?”

I hope everyone knows that most people at this Kirk thing don’t give a shit about him. This is a glorified Trump/Republican rally that’s going to get very Nazi.

the fact that a sitting US president is talking about antifascism being terrorism should tell you a lot about what he thinks his own government represents
