There is a good book somewhere in the 170k first draft of Afterburn (Bk 2). As a draft, it felt like exploratory surgery — but I figured it out by the end even if I had to poke around in the guts of the story for awhile. Back to editing Afterlight (Bk 1) for its January release! 👽🚀
