in so many ways MR. ROBOT was ahead of its time in its approach to character, understanding that every person is a dynamic blend of past, present, desire, regret, fury and loneliness; representation, but more. was just walking about the mosque scene the other day. a highlight in prestige TV.
I don’t wanna spoil anything, but I’d personally like to see more shows like #MrRobot that have a variety of queer characters than shows that are solely about BEING queer. BEING ain’t a story. I want us to see us in great stories that stand on their writing and acting. “Representation” ain’t enuf.
