What Patriarchy doesn’t realize is it literally CREATES a welfare state.
Why? Men DIE. And not always at age 65+ with a retirement account.
If you make women dependent on men, you literally HAVE to take care of them thru a welfare state if their man dies.

I don’t know if the newly-elected Democrats will succeed or do a good job. For the sake of their constituents I hope they do. But most importantly, this election was a repudiation of Trump and MAGA.
I hope Republicans take heed in the future. They are not what the country wants.
