I'd say lack of mental/health services, lack of housing, lack of public transport infrastructure, lack of "the third place" and pandering to right wing talking points in the face of neoliberalsim and late stage capitalism is the biggest threat to 'social cohesion'.
But fuckit what do I know.

I can't believe it's real! Petkit website (whatever, a cat gadget company) offers shipping to every possible place in the world EXCEPT CYPRUS. And no, it's not under "Republic of" or something. 🤯 #cyprus

More differences/similarities between Ireland and Cyprus.

The driving is on the same side of the road and the general vibe is similarly relaxed outside of congested areas, but on Cyprus people never indicate. Not just the BMWs, no one does. Especially not on the roundabouts. Maddening!

I'm living between Ireland and Cyprus now, and it seems like the discourse is mostly indistinguishable even beyond the obvious partition/reunification issue:

Saw a man dragged out by the 3Arena security during the Bob Dylan concert. I hope one day they will also start arresting the people who go to grab a beer during a seated musical performance!

Getting humiliated by woke Ireland in Dublin has sent Ronaldo down the MAGA pipeline... ✊🏽🦜
Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to attend a meeting at the White House, on a day when U.S. President Donald Trump is set to host the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman in the Oval Office, multiple sources have confirmed to The Athletic.

Certain people keep 'vandalizing' our posters, but I'll be insisting that the stickers represent the fact that @catherinegalway.bsky.social is the only Irish-speaking candidate in this election!

Patient, sobbing: But Doctor, I AM Pagliacci!
ChatGPT: Apologies. I didn't realise when recommending Pagliacci's epic show to cure your depression that you were the genius himself. I'm impressed! With regards to your initial question, I can recommend seeing the Great Clown Pagliacci.
